We ve had our sky q set up with sky wifi booster up and running for over a year this morning the minibox is reporting no satellite signal. No it s doubtful the link you posted above will do anything to fix your issue hardwiring from the router to the main box will do nothing either you need to hardwire from the main box to the mini box or hardwire from the main box to a sky q booster and wps from the booster to the mini box like i suggested earlier. There is a thought that although the main box holds a lot there mini doesn t and that may be an issue.
