Sheets are supplied in a reversible smooth smooth finish or in a woodgrain smooth finish.

Plywood is a popular choice for residential and light duty construction and is made from thin sheets of veneer that have been peeled from debarked wood. Has a uniform and smooth appearance that is easily painted or stained. The most used sheathing and subfloor material. Installers use conventional carbon tipped blades and standard woodworking drill bits.

Allows coordination with altro wood and altro wood acoustic ranges for smooth transition between areas requiring different levels of slip resistance and sound absorption. 15db sound reduction ideal for noisy environments such as healthcare and educational settings. The edges of pvc sheets can be finished with machine edging sanding grinding or filing. The three ways to smooth wood sanding scraping and planing all leave a different kind of surface.

It is not just about looks though. Altro wood is designed to cope with the medium to heavy traffic you would expect in these environments. These thin layers also called plies are glued together in alternating perpendicular directions to create a cross graining pattern. This pattern results in added strength and stability that resists shrinkage and expansion.

Wood look smooth sheet flooring. Stronger than particle board but weaker than plywood. Like particle board it holds up well against temperature changes but not to water. They can be installed with regular woodworking tools.
